Price Action

Price action is the study of price behaviour itself: swings, candles, closes, wicks, reactions and the context around them.

In one linePrice action means reading how price behaves without relying on a prediction from an indicator.
Candlestick chart highlighting rejection wicks, strong closes and continuation.
Price action is easier to read when candles are viewed in context rather than in isolation.

A candle is useful because of where it happens

A rejection wick in the middle of nowhere may mean little. The same reaction at an important zone can be more informative.

Read sequence, not one candle

Look at how candles build a swing, where they close, whether momentum expands or fades, and how price responds after a level is tested.

Common mistake:Treating one candle pattern as an automatic trade signal without considering structure and context.
Remember this

  • Location matters.
  • Sequence matters.
  • One candle rarely explains the whole market.
